A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF A}JAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREE1'1ENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AND THE COMMUNITY CENTER AUTHORITY FOR Al~
ADVANCE TO PAY ARCHITECTURAL FEES FOR THE
ANAHEIM CONVENTION CENTER ADDITION AND AUTHOR-
IZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
AGREE!'1ENT .
~~REAS, the Community Center Authority was created
pursuant to a Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement dated March 1,
1965, by and between the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Union
High School District: and
~fflEREAS, Section 6504 of the California Government Code
and said Joint Powers Agreement provide that the City of Anaheim
may make contributions from its treasury for the purpose set
forth in said Agreement; and
~VHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires the Community
Center Authority to cause to be constructed an addition at
Anaheim Convention Center pursuant to plans and specifications
prepared by Adrian Wilson Associates, Architect.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an Agreement
to advance $315,000.00 to the Community Center Authority to pay
Adrian Wilson Associates to prepare plans and specifications for
the addition to the AnaheiDl Convention Center are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTm;n RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
is authorized and directed to draw a warrant in the sum of
$315,000.00 and forward said sum to the Community Center Authority.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of the City
of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and siqned by me
