RMSOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, California, that,

pursuant and subject to al.l the terms, conditions and provisions of the Public
5
Health Act of the State of California, anr.roved March 23, 1907, and all amend -
6
ments thereto, application by this Council be made to the State Board of Health
7
of the State of California for a permit to construct and overate .jointly with
8
the City of 'Santa Ana, City of Fullerton, City of Orange, and the Sanitary
9
District of Buena Park, Sanitary District of La Habra., Sanitary District of
10
Garden Grove and Sanitary District of Placentia, four (4) temporary settling
11
basins for clarifying; sei�Tage by natural sedimentation;
12
To discharge effluent into the Pacific Ocean through existing and.
13
rehabilitated forty - tvo inch line now extending 3,000 feet into the ocean and.
14
terminating in forty .feet of -a.ter at mean low- tide;
15
To construct and operate a temnorary numping plant and necessary an-
16 -
- nurtenances to discharge rater effluent into temporary settlin., basins located on
17
anrroxima.tely sixty acres of land adjacent to and bounded by the Santa Ana
18
River on the easterly, and bounded on the northerly by Ellis Avenue;
19
To reconstruct and use Ln?aroximate17 five and three quarter miles of
20
Outfall line known as Section #2 of said Joint Outfall Sewer System;
21
To construct and operate ferrous chloride plants (Scott Darcey Process
22
for odor control and pineline protection, one located at the junction of the
23
sewage flows of West Fullerton, La Habra Sanitary District and Buena Park Sani-
24
tary District, and one located on the south main lateral of Anaheim.
25
To construct and operate chlorinator stations on the Anaheim La Palma
26
27 Avenue lateral, the Garden Grove lateral and the Orange lateral;

28 That the 44ayor of said City Council be and he is hereby authorized to
29 cause the necessary data to be rrenared a.nd investigation to be made, and, in
30 the name of said City Council, to sign and file application !with the said State.
