NO. 1138
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING
MAYOR AND CLERK TO EXECUTE ASSIGNPENT AND RELEASE TO PACIFIC
INDE111NITY CO 1'ANY.
WHEREAS, the Pacific Indemnity Company has delivered
to the City of Anaheim, its draft in the sum of Five Thousand Six
Hundred. Eleven Dollars Twenty -eight Cents ($5,611.28), together
with a letter of Indemnity saving harmless against loss said City
of Anaheim from any claim for wages in the sum of Two Hundred
Sixteen Dollars Sixty -seven Cents ($216.67), due Charles A. Boege,
as City Treasurer of said City of Anaheim.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Chas. H. Mann, 11ayor of the City of Anaheim,
be,and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute to said
Pacific Indemnity Company an Assignment of Claims and Causes of
Action agp inst Charles A. Boege and Release of the said Pacific
Indemnity Company of any and all claims against said Pacific Indem-
nity Company for which said Pacific Indemnity Company shall have
been liable under its bond under which it became surety for said
Charles A. Boege as City Treasurer of said City of Anaheim; and
Chas. E. Griffith, City Clerk of said City of Anaheim is hereby
authorized and instructed to attest such Assignment and Release;
Such Assignment and Release shall be in a. form as shall be approved
by the City Attorney of the City of Anaheim.
The foregoing Resolutl}on is signed and approved by me
this 5th day of September, 1939.
