RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM that the rates to be charged for Water Service
for Spraying by the Light and 'Water Department of the
City of Anaheim be and the same are hereby fixed as
follows., said rates to become effective on the 25th
day of October , 1938.
WATER SERVICE FOR SPRAYING
Applicable to all consumers of water used for
spraying for the control of orchard pests when such
water is taken from City owned and maintained fire
hydrants.
RATE:
First 20 tanks (6,000 gallons) per grove; $1.00
All over 20 tanks per grove; .04 per tank
MINIMUM CHARGE;
The minimum charge for water consumption shall be; $1.00
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
(a) All charges based on this rate shall be computed on
the basis of 300 gallons per tank,
(b) Each person or persons desiring water for spraying
shall make application for permit to use water from fire
hydrants at the Office of the Water Department, 518 South
Los Angeles St. A permit card will be issued at the time
of making application, said card to be properly filled out
and returned to the Water Department on or before the 5th.
day of the month following the month of consumption.
(c) For each individual grove sprayed, a separate permit
will be issued in accordance with Special Condition (b).
(d) A permit will be issued to each person or persons
spraying trees on City lots, said permit to cover any
number of lots, but in no case will this permit apply to
acreage. A list and location of the lots to be sprayed
must be given at the time the permit is issued.
(e) All water used for spraying shall be taken from fire
hydrae #s through the use of facilities provided by the
Water Department only.
(f) A deposit of Ten Dollars ($10.00) will be required of
each person borrowing City owned facilities for the pro-
curement of water, said deposit to be made at the start
of each spraying job provided, however, that all loaned
facilities are returned undamaged and in good condition
and'all charges for water and /or damages to said facil-
ities are paid in full.
(g) Failure to abide by the rules and regulations as set
forth herein shall prohibit further use of water and /or
facilities as provided by this schedule.
The foregoing resolution was signed and approved by me
