RESOLUTION DECLARING ALL WEEDS GROWING UPON PUBLIC
STREETS AND VACANT LOTS TO BE A NUISANCE.

211 RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM that there
3 are growing upon various streets in the City of Anaheim and
4 vacant lots adjacent to said streets certain weeds and rank
511 growth, and that said lots in the City of Anaheim are hereby de-
6 cl ared to be a nuisance.
7 The Superintendent of Streets of the City of Anaheim is hereby
8 authorized and directed to give notice required by law to the
911 owners of.said vacant lots and streets adjacent thereto to re-
10 move the same, as required by law.
11 Said Superintendent of Streets is hereby authorized and directed,
12 upon the expiration of a period of ten (10) days after notice
13 as required by law, to remove any weeds and rank growth upon said
14 lots or streets that have not been removed, and to charge the
15 same to the property adjacent to or the lots cleaned by said
16 Superintendent of Streets.
17 Upon removal by said Superintendent of Streets of any of said
18 weeds or rank growth, said Superintendent of Streets shall re-
19 port to the City Council the location and description of any pro -
20 perty upon which said weeds or rank growth have been removed,
21 and unless the cost thereof is paid by the owner of said lots,
22 parcels of land or the owners of lots and parcels of land ad-
23 jacent to said streets, the same shall become a lien upon said
24 property.
25 The foregoing resolution is approved and signed by me this
26 26th day of April, 1 93 5 •

adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Anaheim, held on the 26th day of April, 1938, by the following

And I further certify that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said resolution on the 6th day of April,
1939.
