RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
PROVIDING FOR THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELEC-
TION IN THE CITY OF ANA`1EIM ON THE SECOND TUESDAY IN
APRIL, 1938, TO -WIT: ON THE 12TH DAY OF APRsIL, 1938, AND
APPOINTING ELECTION OFFICERS FOR SAID MUNICIPAL ELECTION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That a general municipal election shall be held
at and within the City of Anaheim on the second Tuesday in April,
1938) to -wit: on the 12th day of April, 1938, for the purpose of
electing the following officers of said city, to -wit: three (3)
members of the City Council.
SECTION 2, At such election there shall be eight (8) voting
precincts, each of which shall consist of a consolidation of the
regular election precincts established in said city of holding
state or county elections as follows:
Consolidated Voting Precinct " A " , comprising state and county
precincts "Anaheim Precincts Nos. 1, 5 and 6 ", and the polling
place thereof shall be at Horace Mann School, 931 North Palm Street.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "B ", comprising state and county
precincts "Anaheim Precincts Nos. 2, 3 and 411, and the polling place
thereof shall be at L.A Fisher Garage, 709 N. Philadelphia Street
Consolidated Voting Precinct "C", comprising state and county
precincts "Anaheim Precincts Nos. 7, 8 and 10 and the polling
place thereof shall be at the Anaheim Union High School, 911 W.
Center Street.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "D", comprising state and county
precincts "Anaheim Precincts Nos. 11, 12 and 14 and the polling
place thereof shall be at the Ford Salesroom, 320 N. Los Angeles St.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "E ", comprising state and county
precincts "Anaheim Precincts Nos. 15, 16 and 18 ", and the polling
place thereof shall be at J. H. Brunsworth Garage, 1109 E. Center
Street.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "F ", comprising state and county
precincts "Anaheim Precincts Nos. 13, 19 and 20 ", and the polling
place thereof shall be at the City Hall, at 204 East Center Street
Consolidated Voting Precinct "G", comprising state and county
precincts "Anaheim Precincts Nos. 17, 21 and 22 ", and the polling
I lace thereof shall be at Bungalow Electric Shop, 613 So. Los
2 ngeles Street.
3 Consolidated Voting Precinct "H ", comprising state and county
4 precincts "Anaheim Precincts Nos. 9, 23 and 24 ", and the polling
5 lace thereof shall be at the J. A. Planting Garage, 924 W. Broadway.
6 SECTION 3. Said election shall be held and conducted and

otioe thereof shall be given in accordance with an Act of the Legis-
8 ature of the State of California entitled "An Act to Provide for
9 and Regulate Municipal Elections in Cities of the Fifth and Sixth
10
lass", approved May 27, 1919, and all acts amendatory thereof; pro -
11
ided that in all respects not provided for in said act of the legis-
12 ature, such election shall be held and conducted in accordance
13 ith the general election laws of the State of California insofar
14 is the same may be applicable.
15 SECTION 4. At such election the polls must be opened at the
16 our of seven o'clock in the forenoon of said 12th day of April,
17 939' and must be kept open until the hour of seven o'clock in the
18 fternoon of said day, at *hich time the polls must be closed.
19 SECTION 5. The compensation of the persons composing the
20 lection board to hold and conduct said election is hereby fixed
n the sum of Five (05.00) Dollars each.

22 SECTION 6. That the following named persons be named and
23 ppointed election officers to serve for the general municipal
24 lection to be held on the 12th day of April, 1938:
