OF NEW ZONING ORDINANCE, AND DIRECTING THE HOLDING OF PUBLIC

WHEREAS The City Council of the City of Anaheim, on the 11th
day of May, 1937; adopted a resolution determining that the

necessity, interest, health, comfort, convenience and welfarerel
quire that said city adopt a new comprehensive zoning ordinance
regulating, restricting and segregating the location of industries,
the several classes of business, trades or callings, the location
Of apartment or tenement houses, club houses, group residences,
two- family dwellings, single family dwellings and the several classes
of public and semi- publio buildings, the location of buildings or
Property designed for specified uses, and the use of property
located within said city, and directing the Planning Commission of
said city to prepare tentative plans setting forth the aforementioned
uses of property within the city and to submit said plans to said
City Council within sixty days; and
WHEREAS in accordance with the foregoing instructions, and
after due publication of notice of public hearing, said Planning

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that those certain tentative plans and report of said
Planning Commission, including a map entitled "Zone Map of the City
of Anaheim, California, City Engineer's Office, Scale 1 "$ 250',
June 22, 1 937 ", which plans, report and map were submitted to said
City Council on the 22nd day of June, 1937, be and the same are
hereby approved;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said Planning COMr..ission
be and it is hereby directed to hold a public hearing on said
tentative plans, report and map, at the city hall in said city at
7 :30 P.M. on Friday, July 9, 19372 and any adjournment of such
hearing as may be necessary to afford all interested persons an
Opportunity to be heard in this matter, after which hearing, or
hearings, said Planning Commission. shall make and submit its final
report in accordance with Act 994, of the Legislature of the State
of California.
The foregoing resolution is approved and signed this 22nd
day of June, 1937.
