06/01/1937-2RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF REQUEST FOR GRANT OF FUNDS WHEREAS: North and South Palm Streets, West Center Street between Palm and West Streets, and Lincoln Avenue, all in the City of Anaheim, were widened and improved principally at the expense of the owners of the property abutting on and adjacent to said streets; and 'AREAS, the special assessments against said property for the payment of principal and interest on the acquisition bonds issued for said. widening continue to be at a rate higher than such property is able to pay, and said property owners are pray— ing for further relief from such burden of special assessments; and WHEREAS,, the Supervisors of the County of Orange have certain funds which it is lawful for them to use in relieving such distressed assessments districts. IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and city engineer of said city be and they are hereby authorized and directed to present to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange a request for a grant of Z330-89 from the above-mentioned funds, said sum to be used only for the relief of the said. SPECIAL CONDITIONS (a) This schedule is restricted to service used exclusively for general domestic and household Durooses as distinguished from commercial or other uses of electric service. (b) Pate (B) is available only to consumers permanently installing: 1. An electric range of not less than 5 KT total rating where the range is used exclusively for all regular cooking on the premises, or 2. An electric water heater conforming to Special Condition (c) where the water heater is used exclusively for all regular eater heating on the premises, or 3. Other major equipment of not less than 5 KIN total rating, where such equipment is regularly used for household purposes. The 1.0t rate per KIM is applicable only where the consumer has an electric range and an electric water heater, conforming to Special Condition (c), both permanently installed and uses both exclusively for all regular cooking and water heating on the premises. (c) The water heater shell be Drovided with an efficiently insulated storage tank and the wattage rating of the base heating element, controlled by a thermostat located near the bottom of the tank, shall not exceed 2,500 watts for tanks of less than 50 gallons capacity and shall not exceed 50 watts per Mallon of tank capacity for tanks of 50 gallons and over. An additional wattage of not to exceed 50 watts per gallon of tank capacity, but in no event more than a total of 2 KW is allowable when used in a Booster heating element individually controlled by a separate thermostat, set to cut -in only when the temperature of the top one -third (1/3) of tank capacity is 20 °F. below the temperature setting of the bottom thermostat. (d) "Major equipment consists of any device for domestic use that is rated by the manufacturer at one (1) or more kilowatts. (e) I,inimum char e on Rate (B) will be based on connected load taken at 100 of the nameplate rating of major equipment permanently connected and which may be connected at any one time, computed to the nearest one -tenth (1 /10) of a kilowatt. Connected load for water heaters shall be taken as 100ev of the rating of base heating units, Booster heating units being waived. (f) Single phase motor service may be combined under this schedule, provided that individual motors do not exceed 3 HP and that not more than a total of 3 HP is used for pumping. Each horsepower of connected load shall be considered as equivalent to 1 KZI of connected load. (g) ';There consumer installs air heating of 5 KID', or more, in major equipment and where the minimum charge per month is $6.00 or more, the minimum charge for the entire installation shall be made accumulative for the twelve (12) consecutive months beginning with the regular meter r„ading nearest January 1st, and shall be paid monthly as it accumulates. (h) The City, at its election and expense, may regulate the hours of use of any eater heating and air heating load served under this schedule, and may limit the amount of such additional load that it is obligated to accept, subject to review by the Railroad Commission of the State of California.
