2 RESOLUTION OF CONDOLENCE
3 RESOLUTION IN MEMORIAM OF SAMUEL KRAM ER:
4
5 WHEREAS, by the untimely passing of Samuel Kraemer, the
6 County of Orange, California has lost one of its most progressive
7 and active citizens, and,
8 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim, appreciates
9 the great loss to this community in his passing, and,
10 WHEREAS, during his lifetime, he not only took an active part
11 in working for the good of this community in his private and
12 business life, but also served this City in providing modern and
13 suitable business properties of great value to this community, and,
14 WHEREAS, this City Council deeply feels the loss to this
15 community in his passing,
16 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT
17 OF ANAHEIM, that the City of Anaheim extend to the surviving widow
18 Mrs. Angelina Kraemer, to his sons, Samuel P., Jr., Gilbert U.,
19 Lawrence P., Arnold R,. Louis, and daughters, Mrs. Walter
20 Muckenthaler, Mrs. Edward Backs, and Geraldine, our sincere sympat y
21 and condolence in this, their hour of grief.
22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution be placed upon
23 the minutes of the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and a
24 copy thereof be sent to his widow, Mrs. Angelina Kraemer.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF'ANAHEIM DIRECTING
THE PLANNING COMMIISSION TO PREPARE NEW ZONING ORDINANCE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AS FOLLOWS:
That the Dublic necessity, interest, health, comfort,
convenience and public welfare require that the City of Anaheim
adopt a new comprehensive zoning ordinance regulating,
restricting and segregating the location of industries, the
several classes of business, trades, or callings, the location
of apartment or tenant houses, club houses, group residences,
two family dwellings, single family dwellings and several
classes of public and semi - public buildings and location of
buildings or property designed for specified uses, and the use
of property located within said city,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of
the City of Anaheim be, and said Planning Commission is hereby
directed to prepare tentative plans setting forth the afore-
mentioned uses of property within the City of Anaheim, and
submit said tentative plan to the City Council of said city
within sixt)r days from the date hereof.
The foregoing resolution is signed, approved and attested
by me, this 11th day of Hay, 1937
