03/09/1937-8A RESOLUTION &TAKING APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS TO
AID IN FINANCING A PROJECT FOR THE EXTENSIONS
OF WATER MAINS IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, through its duly authorized
agent, has executed and filed with the Federal Emergency
Administration of Public ';orks, (herein called "Government")
an application for grant for the purpose of aiding in
financing the extensions of water mains in the City of
Anaheim, (herein called "Project "); and
WHEREAS, the estimated total cost of said Project is
Thirty -seven Thousand, Seven Hundred and Thirty Dollars,
and Sixty -nine Cents ( 37,730.69 ); and
';7HHEREAS, the amount of grant requested from the Government
in said application is Sixteen Thousand, Nine Hundred and
Seventy-eight Dollars, and Eighty -one Cents (4 16,978.81 ).
NO'J1 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF the
City of Anaheim that, in the event said application for
grant is approved and the Government offers to assist in
financing the Project and makes the said requested grant,
there be appropriated from the general fund of the City
of Anaheim a sum of Twenty Thousand, Seven Hundred and
Fifty -one Dollars, and Eighty -eight Cents ( 20 ),
which said amount, together with grant, will be sufficient
to construct said Project.
The foregoing resolution is approved and signed this
