03/09/1937-9RESOLUTION ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR
STREET IMPROVEMENT AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK
TO CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR FURNISHING AND LAYING
ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, as
follows:
SECTION 1- That those certain specifications entitled "City
of Anaheim, State of California, Specifications and Special
Provisions for the Improvement of Santa Ana Street from Lemon
Street to Manchester Blvd. in the City of Anaheim ", as prepared
and submitted by the city engineer, be and the same are hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 2- That the work of constructing curbs, sidewalks
and asphalt concrete pavement on the westerly half of Citron
Street between Center and Cypress Streets be done in accordance
with the above - mentioned specifications.
SECTION 3- That the city clerk be aid he is hereby author-
ized and directed to publish a notice by two insertions in the
Anaheim Gazette, inviting proposals for furnishing, placing,
rolling and finishing the following approximate quantities
of asphalt concrete pavement in accordance with the above
specification &:
Santa Ana Street between Lemon and Citron Streets, 2400 tons;
Santa Ana Street between Citron and Manchester B1vd.,2100 tams;
Citron Street between Center and Cypress Streets, 600 tons.
The foregoing resolution is approved and signed thks 9th
day of March, 1937.
