OF ''�41EST SANTA ANA STREET
IN THE CITY OF ANAHEII
71 EREAS, pursuant to proper applications therefor by the City of Anaheim, the
Works Progress Administration and. the State Department of Public '.'forks
have allocated certain labor, aid and funds for the improvement of West
Santa, Ana Street, between Lemon Street and Manchester Boulevard in saaid
city; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said city has determined that it Mould- be for the
public interest and convenience to widen said street to a width of 69.5
feet before the construction of said improvements; and
IMREAS, the owners of the property on both. sides of said street have a�°reed,
in writing, to convey to said city the land tequired for such widening
in exchange for certain improvements.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Anaheim,
that said council receive and accept, on behalf of said city, deeds and
for easements for widening said street to a maximum of 69.5 feet, and in
full consideration for such conveyances sa.id4w(4�- agrees to cause the
following work to be performed on said r`; Santa Ana Street i ithout any
expense or individual assessments ighatever against the abutting pro- ?erty:
Grading; construction of standard concrete curbs on both sides of
said street where curbs have not already been constructed; construction
of asphalt concrete pavement for the full width of roadway] 51.5 feet
between curbs, except that portion already paved by the Southern Pacific
Company; reconstruction and improvement of storm water structures;
moving and replacing fences; and moving buildings and other improvements
now situated on the land conveyed as above, if and when said city
council orders the construction of sidewalks or ot'n�er ir:r,,)rovements
requiring the full use and occupancy of such land.
