,+A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SOUTHERN
PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY TO SHIFT ITS
TRACK ACROSS BROADWAY AND WALNUT STREET
The City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby
determine and declare that the public interest, necessity and
convenience require, and it is hereby ordered:
That the Southern Pacific Railroad Company be
authorized and it is hereby directed to shift its track across
Broadway and Walnut Street to the following locations.
The track across Broadway shall be shifted to the
following location:
Beginning at a point in the southeasterly
line of Broadway, distant southwesterly thereon
20 feet, more or less, from its intersection
with the southeasterly prolongation of the
southwesterly line of Thalia Street; thence
northwesterly along a 12 degree curve, concave
to the northeast, 96 feet, more or less, to a
point in the northwesterly line of Broadway,
distant southwesterly thereon 68 feet, more or
less, from its intersection with said south-
westerly line of Thalia Street.
The track across Walnut Street shall be shifted to the
following location:
Beginning at a point in the easterly line
of Walnut Street, distant southerly thereon 5 feet,
more or less, from its intersection with the center
line of the main track of the Southern Pacific
Railroad Company's Santa .Anna Branch; thence westerly
in a direct line 62 feet, more or less, to a point
in the westerly line of Walnut Street, distant
southerly thereon 15 feet, more or less, from its
intersection with the center line of said main
track.
Map marked "L.A.Div'n Drawing D -655, Sheet No. 2,
attached to the application of Southern Pacific Railroad Company
for authority to make such shift of track on file in the office
of the City Clerk of Anaheim, is referred to as showing the
manner and location of said shift of track.

I, CHARLES E. GRIFFITH, City Clerk of the
City of Anaheim, do hereby certify that the foregoing resoluti
authorizing the Southern Pacific Railroad Company to shift its
track across Broadway and Walnut Street, was introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
Of Anaheim, held on the 8th day of October, 1935, by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN, Mann, Pearson, Yungbluth, Ma.rte
She ridan. Jr.
NOES: COUNCILMEN, NONE.
ABSENT AND NOT VOTING, COUNCILMEN, NONE.
And i further certify that the .Mayor of the City
of Anaheim approved and signed. said resolution on the 8th day of
October, 1935.
