RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM 11 THE MATTER OF FINANCING THE CONSTRUCTI 'IN
OF MANCHESTER AVE jVZ
WHEREAS, Manchester Avenue is a very important link in the state
highway system, and its continuation to the city limits
of Anaheim is viewed with much satisfaction by the city
council of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, said city council is desirous of assisting in the pro-
posed work of extending said Manchester Avenue through
the City of Anaheim, but all of the city's available
funds have already been expended; and
wHriMss the very favorable bids recently received by the
California - Highway Commission for the construction of
said Manchester Avenue between Buena Perk and Anaheim
indicate that a substantial sum of money would. remain in
the appropriation for this work.
IT I8 THEREFORE RESOL XD, by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim, that the California Highway Commission be and It
is hereby requested to make available for the cnnstructia
of Manchester Avenue through the City of Anah:eim all
moneys left over from the construation of said avenue
north of Anaheim.
The foregoing resolution is approved, signed and attested.

G THE WORK
WHEREAS, the City Council Of the City of Anaheim, on the
4th day of December, 1934, passed its Resolution of Intention
No. 223, declaring its intention to order the closing up of a
portion of North Ohio Strtlet in said City, and
WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of said city caused
notices of the passage of said. resolution of intention to be
posted, along the line of the contemplated work or im-orovement
as required by law, which said postin,c was completed on the
8th day of December, 1934, as appears from the affidavit of
Ewald M. Lemcke, on file in the off-ice of the City Clerk of said
city, and
WHEREAS, said Strcet Superintendent caused a notice of the
passage of said resolution of intention to be published for a
-Delioe. of ten days as required by law, the last publication being
on thef day of December, 1934, as appears from the affidavit
of the -oublisher, on file with said. city clerk, and
'WiL112EAS, fAoTe than ten days have elapsed since the last
1,�ublication of said, notice, and no protests or objections to the
work described in said resolution of intention have been filed
with said City Clerk.
NOW THEREFORE, said City Council does hereby find and de—
clare that it has acquired jurisdiction to order said work to be
done, an& it is hereby adjudged, determined and declared by said
City Council that said. portio', - of North Ohio Street in said. city,
as described in said Resolution of Intention No. 223, be and the
same is hereby closed up, vacated and abandoned.
The foregoing Resolution is approved, signed an(i attested
this 8th day of January, 1935.
