STRE'tM Ail VACANT LOTS T3 BE A NUISANCE
RESOLVED BY Th CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF that
there are growing upon various streets in the City of Anaheim and
vacant lots adjacent to said streets certain weeds and rank grow
and that said weeds and rank growth growing upon the streets and
vacant lots in the City of Anaheim are hereby declared to be a
nuisance.
The Superintendent of Streets of the City of Anaheim is hereb
authorized and directed to give notice required by law to the
owners of said vacant lots and streets adjacent thereto to remove
the same, as required by law.
Said Superintendent of Streets is hereby authorized and
directed, upon the expiration of a., period of ten (10) says after
notice is required by la,w,to remove any weeds and rank growth upon'
said lots or streets that have not been removed, and to charge the
same to the property adjacent i. or tine lots cleaned by said Sup—
erintendent of Streets.
Upon the removal of said Superintendent of Streets of any of
said weeds or rank growth, said Superintendent of Streets shall
report to the City Council the location and description of any
property upon which said weeds or rank growth have been removed,
and unless the cost thereof is paid by the owner of said lots,
parcels of land or the owners of lots and parcels of land adjacent
to said streets, the same shall become a lien upon said property.
