10/10/1933-011NBEREAS , under and by virtue of Chapter 767 of the
Statutes of 1933, the Department of Public Works of the State
of California is authorized to expend , annually from the State
Hi ghway fund an amount equal to one quarter of one cent per
gallon tax on motor vehicle fuel after the proportionate
payments therefrom into the "Fuef tc_x enforcement fund" and
after the proportionate refunds shall have been made, within
the incorporated cities and freeholder charter cities, and any
city and county in the State of California, for the ppurposes
specified in said chapter, and in the manner �c)rovided by law,
and
WHERE13, in accordance with the provisions of .said
Chapter 767 and in accordance with he provisions of Sections
363r and 36� of the Political Code Chapter 326 of the
Statutes of 1933 , the Department of Public wVorks, acting by

as State highways the following described streets in the
CITY OF ANAHEII1, Orange County
Route 2. Through Anaheim. 2.2 miles
Beginning at the north city limits
of Anaheim at Spadra Road, thence southeast-
erly over Los Y�ngeles Street to the south
cit limits of Anaheim at Uerrmolit' AveInue, e
distance of 2.2 miles, more or less, within
the corporate limits of Anaheim;
Route 178. Thr oue_h Anaheim. 2.0 miles
Beginning at the west city
boundary of Anaheim on Lincoln Avenue,
thence easterly over Lincoln Avenue about
0.4 mile to Center Street, thence north-
easterly over Center Street about 1.6
miles to the east city boundary of Anaheim,
a total distance of 2.0 miles more or less,
within the corporate limits of Anaheim;
which said streets are exist' travelable streets in the
City of Anaheim, and approxi on the route of the
authorized State highways, and
M EREAS , the Director of Public Works and the
California Highway Commission have requested the Cityy of
Anaheim to approve the routing hereinbefore described and
to agree to resume jurisdiction over said city streets or
portions thereof, as may not be included in the State high -
ways, when the same are laid out, adopted, and constructed,
therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City
of Anaheim, acting on behalf of said city, that said city
a ; prove, and it does hereby approve, the routing of said
Sate highways;
tha upon the relinquishrlent of said streets, or
any portion thereof, to the City of Anaheim in the manner
provided by law, said city agree, and does hereby agree, to

so relinquished.

that CHARLES H. MANN, Mayor of the City of Anaheim, be and
he is hereby authorized to cast;A votesfor the City of
Anaheim in that certain election to be held by the Orange
County Water District of Orange County, California, which
election is to be held on Wednesday, the 18th day of
October, 1933.
