RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AVAHEIM

3 WHEREAS, the LOS ANGELES FINANCE CO., GEORGE M. BARTLETT

7 of said land along North Los Angeles Street for the purpose of
8 widening he sa me,

9 NOW, THERVORE, in consideration of the deeding of said
10� land to said city, it is resolved by said City Council that
11� this City Counail shall not make any improvements, such as light-
!
12 i ing, Paving or grading said North Los Angeles Street between
13 Street and Leman Street, which improvements mould in any
14 event be assessed against the property of said parties, without
15 first obtaining the consent of said parties; that the present
16 proposed improvements, consisting of grading, paving, curbs and
17 waterways, will be made without an assessment against said prop -
18 ' erty; and that in case this City Council initiates proceedings
19 for the installation of ornamental street lighting along said
20 portion of said street within ten (10) years from the date
21 hereof, said work shall be done at the expense of the City of
22 Anaheim, and vdthout an assessment against said property, unless �

23 consent to assess the same is first obtained.
24 It is further resolved that the City of Anaheim will

25 abandon and vacate a portion of old North Leman Street in
26 favor of the abutting property owners.
