RESOLUTION
RE IT REVOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim
1MREAS the City Odunoil has heretofore entered into an
agreement with the Anaheim Union Water Company, by the terms
of which the said Anaheim Union 'dater Company agreed to place
certain of their open ditches under ground, and the City of
Anaheim agreed to pay one -half (1 /2) of the expense of the
costs of such improvement, and
WHERMs there is now existing on and along certain streets
in the City of Anaheim, to -wit Sycamore Street between Palm
and Waest streets. and East Street,between Center and S
Streets, certain open ditches, and
e
iEREAS, the Anaheim Union 'Welter C has agreed to plaos
pipes in the ground to replace said ditches in accordance with
the agreement boreinbefore had between the City of Anaheim and
Anaheim Unions mater Company, and
WHERZAS the City Council deems it for the public interest
that said open ditches be abolished, and that the under ground
pipes be laved,
THEREFCtRE., BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim hereby
agrees by and with the Anaheim Union Water Company that the City
of A will pay one -half (1 /2) of the costs of putting in uni
ground oonveyanoecs in plane and instead of the open ditches, and
that the City of A will, upon the completion of said work,
pay to Anaheim Union Water Company, the sum equal to one -half (1,
of the cost of said improvement.
The foregoing resolution is signed, approved and attested
