04/25/1929-024RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
CHLORINATORS FOR JOINT OUTFALL SEWER, AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR CONSTRUCTING SAME.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEI "Z':
SECTION 1: - That those certain specifications entitled
°Specifications for Chlorinators for Joint Outfall Seger ", pre-
pared by the maintenance engineer of said sewer, be and the
same are hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 2: -- That those certain plans marked and desig-
nated "House for Chlorinator on Joint Outfall Sewer ", pre-
pared by said maintenance engineer, be and the same are hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3: -- That said maintenance engineer be and he is
hereby authorized to proceed with the construction of chlorinator
houses along said outfall sewer, and the installation of chlor-
inators therein, as follows: one such house and chlorinator for
each of the cities of Orange, Fullerton and La Habra. Said main -
tenance engineer is hereby further authorized to proiride for the
maintenance cif said chlorinators, and to apportion all costs and
expenses of the construction, installation and maintenance of
said houses and chlorinators in accordance with the apportion-
ment of expenses prevailing among the users of the respective
sections of said joint out sewer, pursuant to the authority
granted the City of Anaheim by the several cities and sanitary
districts, as follows:
City of Fullerton, by resolution dated Jan. 15, 1929;
Placentia Sanitary District, " " Jan. 22, 1929;
City of Orange, " " Feb. 5, 1929•
Garden Grove Sanitary Distriot,by resolution dated Feb. 11, 1929;
Buena Park Sanitary District, if fi Feb. 11, 1929;
and City of La Habra, " " " Apr. 23, 1929.
SECTION 4: - That the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim be
and he is hereby authorized and directed to publish a notice once
a week for a period of two weeks in the Anaheim Gazette, calling
for sealed proposals for the furnishing of all labor and material
required for the construction of said chlorinator houses and the
installation of chlorinators therein, all in accordance with the
above mentioned plans end specifications.
The foregoing resolution is ap�� roved and signed this
