R26OLUT I ON ACCEPTING BIDS FOR SWITCHBOARD RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM: WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim caused to be published notice inviting sealed bids for the furnishing to the City of Anaheim of one switchboard in accordance *ItE- -the plans and specifications adopted by the City Council, and, WHEREAS, in pursuance to said notice on the 30th, day of November, 1928, certain bids a4d proposals were received and opened in public by said City Vouncil and said matter having been referred for further consideration until the 13th, day of December, 1928, said matter was duly considered and all proposals for said switchboard having been opened and ex- amined, the City Council of the City of A does hereby find that the Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Company is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said switchboard. NOW, THEREFCRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Oity Council of the City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim does hereby ac- cept the proposal of the said Westinghouse Electric & Manufac- turing Company to furnish said switchboard, all in accordance with the specifications adopted by this City Council and that all other bids are hereby rejected. The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim is instructed to return bonds or checks to the unsuccessful bidders. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be prepared with Westinghouse Electrio & Manufacturing Company to furnish said switchboard all in accordance with plans and specifications heretofore adopted.
