RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING SET BACK LINE ON
CHARTRES STREET BETWEEN CLAUDINA AND LEMON
STREETS IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS] there is now in the process of construction in the
City of Anaheim an Ordinance Regulating Set Back Lines in the
City of Anaheim, and,
WHEREAS, said Ordinance, when completed, shall provide for a
set back line on the Northerly side of Chartres Street between
Claudina and Lemon Streets in the City of Anaheim, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it probable that buildings
may be erected on said Northerly side of Chartres Street before
the Ordinance aforesaid may become effective,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 11 RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM, that there be, and there is hereby established,
a, set back line on Chartres Street between Claudina and Lemon
Streets, and it is hereby made unlawful for any person, firm or
corporation to construct or erect any building or structure on
any property along the Northerly side of Chartres Street between
Claudina and Lemon Streets within two (2) feet of the property
line adjacent to the Northerly line of Chartres Street in said
City of Anaheim, California..
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Building Inspector of the
City of Anaheim is hereby instructed to enforce the provisions of
this Resolution.
