STREET SUPER INTENDED i O F.EMOVEE WEEDS �OTD RANK GROWTHS FROM PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY.
ViHEREAS, on the 10th day of May, 1928, the City Council of the
City of Anaheim passed a resolution declaring that certain weeds and
rank grAhs were growing unon certain lots, grounds and real property
within said City; and
,,HEREAS, said resolution directed the Street Superintendent of
said City to notify the owners of such property upolt, such weeds
and rank growths were growing, in accordance with the provisions of
Ordinance No. 488; and
's "HT'REAS, said Street Superintendent has caused a notice entitled
"Notice to Destroy *7eeds" to be posted upon each lot or parcel of real
property upon which weeds and rank growths were growing, which said
posting-*ag completed before the 29th day of Flay, 1928; and
V- 1FEREAS, more than ten days have elapsed since the completion of
said posting, and certain owners of property have failed to remove said
weeds growths in accordance with said notices posted, which
said property is shown on a map entitled 11 Teed ap'; 1928; on file in
the office of the City Engineer;
?OW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim, that the Street Superintendent of said City be and he is
hereby authorized to cause the removal by the municipal forces, of the
weeds and rank 4rowths from said lots and parcels of real property the
owners of which have failed10 comply with said " Notice to Destroy
Weeds "; and
BE IT F4HEFR RESOLVED that the cost of removing such weeds and rank
growths, together ttith the colt of such incidental expense and clerical
work as may apply thereto, shall become a lien upon such respective lots
and parcels of real property, and shall be collected as provided in
said Ordinance ' "o. 488.
The foregoing resolution was approved and signed this 14th day of
June, 1928.
