A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AUTHORIZING THE 1 TO EXECUTE A PARTIAL RELEASE OF MORTGAGE,
AND AUTHbRIZING THE CLERK OF THE CITY OF ANAHEI14. TO ATTEST SAME.
WHEREAS, J. B. Rhoads of Orange County, California, did., on
the 15th day of April, 1924, by Indenture of Mortgage of said date,
mortgage to the City of Anaheim certain real property in said
indenture described, which mortgage was recorded in the office of
the County Recorder of the County of Orange on the 18th day of
April, 1924, in volume 326 of Mortgages, page 55, Orange County
Records;
AND WHEREAS, the said J. B. Rhoads ha.s paid the City of
Anaheim the sum of two thousand six hundred ninety nine and 85/100
Dollars, 0;2,699.85) together with the interest thereon at the rate of
seven (7�) per cent, in partial payment of the debt secured by said
mortgage, and
WHEREAS the said J. B. Rhoads is desirous of obtaining a
partial release of the proportionate portion of said real property
from the lien of said mortgage, in accordance with the terms
thereof;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the following described property is the proportionate
part of said real property to be released from the lien of said mortgage
which proportion is specifically described as follows:

said
point being also the
North -west
corner of the East one -

running thence South along the West line of the East one -half (Ez)

the South -west quarter (S of said Section Nineteen, 660.82 feet
to the South line of the North one -half (N1) of the North one -half
(N1) of the South -vest quarter (S of said Section Nineteen
(19 );
thence East along said South line 330,18 feet; thence North 660,75
feet to a point in the North line of the South -west quarter (SW,-)
Of said Section Nineteen (10, which is distant Easterly 330.03
feet from the point of beginning; and thence Iffest along the North
line of said South -west quarter (ST ) 330.03 feet to the point of
beginning, containing an area, of 5 acres.
Excepting therefrom, all but an undivided 5/73 interest in a
Parcel of land 30 feet East and =pest by 50 feet North and South,
the North -east corner of which is located 254,80 feet South of a
point in the half section line of said Section Nineteen (19), which
is 925.06 feet West of the center of said Section,
AND BE IT FURi'HER RESOLVED THAT TAE above described property
be and the same is hereby discharged and released from the lien of
said mortgage, and the mayor of the City of Anaheim is hereby
authorized to execute a. Dartia.l release of said mortgage releasing
the above described property,and the City Clerk is hereby authorized
to attest the same.
