RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULT OF THE SPECIAL ELECTION
HELD MARCH 20TH, 1928.
WHEREAS, the special election was held in that certain
territory adjacent to the City of Anaheim designated as the
Placentia Avenue Addition, on the 20th day of March, 1928, and
11HEREAS, the proposition "Shall the Placentia Avenue Add-
ition be annexed to the City of Anaheim ?" was submitted to the
electors in said territory, and
WHEREAS, this City Council on this 12th day of April,
1928, having publicly opened the returns of said election
and canvassed the same, do hereby find that the number of
votes cast at said election is 89; that the number of Votes
cast in favor of annexing said territory to the City of Anaheim
is 34; that the number of votes cast against the annexation
of said territory to the City of Anaheim is 55.
THERElFORE, IT IS RESOLVED, by this City Council that the
majority of the electors residing in said territory are opposed
to the annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim.
The foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted the
