ANAHEIM, GRA:,vTIOG ASSE. OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
2 TO RATIFY CONSENT OF THE STOCKHOLDERS OF WEST
ANAHEIM WATER CO., a CORPORATION, TO THE AMENDMENT
3 OF THE ARTICLES OF INOORPORATIOV OF SAID CORPORATION.
4 ij WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the West Anaheim Water
5 Co., a corporation, of Anaheim, California, duly passed a Reso-
(3 lution to provide an Amendment to Paragraph "Second" of the Ar-
7 ticles of Incorporation of said corporation, and,
8 WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of thirty (30)
9 shares of stock of said corporation, and,
10 WHEREAS, this City Council deems it for the best interest
11 of the City of Anaheim, as such stockholder, that Paragraph
12 "Second" of said Articles of Incorporation be amended, as pro-
13 posed in said Resolution of the Board of Directors of the West
14 Anaheim Water Co., a corporation, which Amendment is as follows,
15 to-wit:

"Second. That the purposes for which it is
formed are: The supplying of water for irrigation

18 and domestic use to its stockholders without profit
to the corporation; the development of water by means
19 of bored wells, and the purchase and acquisition of
11 all necessary water and water rights, lands, ditches,
20 flumes, rights of way, machinery and appliances, and
all other property and works necessary to the carry-

ing on of the business of supplying water to its
stockholders as aforesaid,"

24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by tht City Council of the
25 City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim give its assent t o Par
26 agraph "Second", as above proposed, and that the Mayor of the
27 City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized and instructed-

28 to sign, in the name of the City of fi.n�;heim, the assent of
29 stockholder to said Amendment.
