DISTRICT NO. 2 OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE.
RESOLUTION GRANTING CONSENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:.
i
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange
did, on the ldt� day of November, 1927, approve the Specifications

for the opening/ i�idening and improvement of Lemon Street, in the
County of Orange, State of California, from the center line of La
Palma Avenue to the Southerly boundary line of the City of Fuller-
ton, and portions of said street to be opened, widened and im-
proved lying within the boundaries of the City of Anaheim, and,
WHEREAS, the said Board of Supervisors did, on the 1$rth day
of November, 1927, approve certain Specifications so prepared, and
request the consent of this City Council to the acquisition and im
provernent of that portion of said street proposed to be opened,
widened and improved, which lies within and to the inclusion in
the proposed assessment district of that portion of said assess-
ment district lying within the boundaries of the City of Anaheim,
and,
WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Anaheim has exam-
ined said Specifications, and is familiar with the things proposed
to be done thereunder,
N07Y, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim:
1. That the public interest and necessity require the open-
ing, widening and improvement of Lemon Street, all to the extent
and in the manner set forth in the said Specifications therefor,
prepared by Nat H. Neff, Superintendent of Highways of the County
of Orange, and approved by the Board of Supervisors of the County

of Orange, on the 15th day of November, 1027, and now on file in
the office of the Clerk of the said City, entitled "Specifications;
for Acquisitidn and Improvement District No. 2 of the County of
Orange°, a certified copy of which is also on file in the office
of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
2. That the consent of this City Council is hereby given to
the opening, widening and improvement of said street lying within
the boundaries of the City of Anaheim, in the manner set forth in
said Specifications, which said portions are described as follows:
That portion of Lemon Street from the center line
of La Palma Avenue North to the Westerly extended line
of the Northerly city limits of the City of Anaheim.
3. That this City Council hereby finds and determines that
the lands included.within the following described boundaries
lying within the boundaries of the City of Anaheim will be bene-
fited by the said proposed opening, widening and improvement, and
hereby consents to the inclusion of said lands within the pro—
posed assessment district, and to the asses`iment therefor of the
property therein, to -wit:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of the Southwest one - quarter
(S'4) of Fractional Section 3, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S.B.B. & M.; thence Westerly along the South line of said Frac-
tional Section 3 to an intersection with the Southerly produced
East line of Lot 17, Miles Rancho, as per map thereof on file in
Miscellaneous Maps, Book 4, page 7, Records of Orange County, Cal-
ifornia; thence Northerly along said Southerly produced line and
the East line of said Lot 17 and the Northerly prolongation there-
of to an intersection with the surveyed center line of Los Angeles
Street, as shown on said map of i "Files Rancho; thence Northwesterly
along said surveyed center line of Los Angeles Street to an inter-
section with the Southerly produced East line of Lots 13 and 14,

Anaheim Home Tract, as per map thereof on file in Miscellaneous
Maps, Book 6, Page 34, Records of Orange County; California;
thence Northerly along said Southerly produced line and the East
line of Lots 13 and 14 and the Northerly prolongation thereof to
an intersection with the surveyed center line of Romneya, Drive
as shown on said map of Anaheim Home Tract; thence `',F.esterly along
said surveyed center line of Romneya: Drive to an intersection wit:
the "'est line of the hereinbefore mentioned Fractional Section 3;
thence Northerly along said West line of Fractional Section 3 to
an intersection with the South line of Lot 5 of the hereinbefore
mentioned Miles Rancho, said South line of Lot 5 being the North-
erly boundary of the City of Anaheim, as per Ordinance No. 435 of
said City of Anaheim; thence Easterly along the South line of sa.i
Lot 5 of Iftles Rancho to the Southeast corner thereof; thence Eas
along the extended South line of Lot 5, 190.00 feet along the
Northerly boundary of the City of Anaheim, as per Ordinance No.
456 of said. City; thence North parallel to the East line of said
Lot 5 to a point on the North line of the Southwest one - quarter o
the Northeast one - quarter of the Southwest one - quarter of Section
3, Township 4 South, Range 10 ;est, S. B.B. & 1 1 A.; thence East along
said North line to the Southwest corner of the Northeast one-
quarter of the Northeast one - quarter of the Southwest one - quarter
of said Section 3; thence North along the West line of the North-
east one - quarter of the Northeast one - quarter of the Southwest
one - quarter of said Section 3 to a point on the East and West cen
ter line of said Section 3; thence East along said center line to
the center of said Section 3; thence South along the North and
South center line of spid Section 3 to the point of beginning.
4. That the consent of this City Council is hereby given to
the commencement of the proceedings of said proposed opening,
widening and improvement of Lemon Street by the legislative body
of the County of Orange, and to the exercise of exclusive juris-

diction by said legislative body over all proceedings necessary
thereto for the purpose of consum hating the sane, all in accordant
with the provisions of ItThe Acquisition and Improvement Act of
1925."
5. That the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim is hereby
directed to certify and deliver a copy of this Resolution to the
Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange.
The foregoing Resolution is signed and approved by me this
25th day of November, 1927.
