11/25/1927-012Oit AREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim, on the 10th day of November, 1927, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 210 declaring its intention to order the planting of trees on North and South Rash Streets, North Janes Street, North Pine Street, North and South Palm Streets, North and South Relena Streets, North and South.Dickel Streets and North and South Clementine Streets, in the City of Anaheim, and WHEREAS, the said Resolution of Intention directed the Plan- ping Commission of the City of Anaheim to file with the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim a written report showing the plans and specifications for the proposed work, an estimate of the cost of said improvement, a diagram of the property affected or benefited by the proposed work and improvement, and the proposed assessments of the total amount of costs and expenses of the proposed improve- ment,, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim on the 22nd day of December, 1927, filed with the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim, this report, in writing, sharing the above mentien- ed facts, and this City Council having duly considered said report, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, that the report of the Planning Commission for the planting of trees on the above -named streets be, and the same is hereby approved and ado #ted., and BE IT FLIRT RESOLVED, that Thursday the 8th day of Feb- Teary, 1928, be and the same is hereby fixed as the day, 8 o'clock P.M. as the hour and the council chamber of said city council as ...1- the place, when and where anyone having any objections to the pro- posed work and improvement or to the proposed assessments therefor, or any objections to the work to be done as recommended in said report, may be heard by said city council. All of said work and improvement shall be done under and in pursuance of an Act of the Legislature of the State of California entitled "An Act Providing for the Planting, Protection,, Mainten- ance, Rem ©val and Ohange of Trees, Shrubs, Plants and Grass Along and In Public Streets, Avenues, Lanes, Alleys, Courts, Places and Path -ways within Municipalities, and Providing a Method for the Assessment of the Costs and Zxpenses Thereof,• approved June 7, 1915. All of said work will be done in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Planning Commission and Wdopted by this City Council, which plans and specifications are on file in- the office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim. The Superintendent of Streets is hereby instructed to cause a notice of the proposed work and improvement and of the passage of this Resolution to be published for a period of two days in the Anaheim Bulletin, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the City of Anaheim, and to cause a similar notice to be posted as provided by Law.
