RESOLUTION OF'INTENTION N0, 210
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:
Section 1: That the public interest and convenience re-
uire, ar;d that it is the intention of the City Council of the
ity of Anaheim to order the following work and improvement to
be made in said city, to -wit:
That trees be planted in the parkways of the following
streets or portions of streets:
(a) On both sides of North Resh Street from the northerly
line of Nest Center Street to a line parallel with and 208 feet
northerly from the northerly line of Nest Cypress Street; on
both sides of South Resh Street f rom the southerly line of West
Santa na Street to the northerly line of Nest Pater Street;
(b) On the westerly side of North Janes Street from the
northerly line of 'hest Center Street to the southerly line of
West Chartres; Street; on both sides of North Janos Street from
the northerly line of West Cypress Street to the southerly line
of West Sycamore Street;
(c) On both sides of North Pine Street from the northerly
line of West Cypress Street to the southerly line of Pest
Sycamore Street;
(d) On the easterly side of North Palm Street from the
northerly line of Vest Center Street to the southerly line of West
Cypress Street; on the westerly side of North Palm Street from
the northerly line of 'Nest Cypress Street to the southerly line
of West Sycamore Street; on both sides of North Palm Street
from the northerly line of West Sycamore Street to the south
line of Romneya Drive; on both sides of South Palm Street from
the southerly line of West Center Street to the northerly line
of West Broadway;
(e) On both sides of North Helena Street from the northerly
line of Nest Center Street to the southerly line of West Cypress
Street, and from the northerly line of West North Street to the
south line of West La Palma Avenue; an both sides of South
Helena Street from the southerly line of West Center Street to
the northerly line of 'hest Santa Ana Street; on both sides of
South Helena Street from its present end 213 feet southerly from
the southerly line of West Sant to the northerly line
of Pest South Street;

line of West North Street to the south line of West La Palma Ave-
nue; on both sides of South Dickel Street from its present end
213 feet southerly from the southerly line of West Santa Ana
Street, to the northerly line of West South Street;

(g) On both sides of North&Clementine Streetsfrom the north-
erly line of West Satreet to the southerly line of West
Cypress Street, and from the northerly line of West Sycamore
Street to the south line of West La Palma Avenue; and on both
sides of South Clementine Street from its present end 213 feet
southerly from the southerly line of West Santa Ana Street, to
its present southerly end 332.67 feet southerly from the south-
erly line of West Water Street.

Section 2: That said trees, after planting, shall be
under the care of the City of Anaheim for a period of three years.
Section 3: That the proposed improvements mentioned in
Section 1 hereof are hereby referred to the Planning Commission
of said city, and said Planning Commission is hereby directed to
make and file with the Clerk of the City of Anaheim a report in
writing, presenting the following:
(a) Plans and specifications for the work to be performed,
and the general method or manner of making the improvement.
(b) An estimate of the cost of said improvement, and of
the incidental expenses in connection therewith.

(d) The proposed assessment of the total amount of the
costs and expenses of the proposed improvement (including all in-
cidental expenses) upon the lots, parts of lots, and lands within
said assessment district as shown by said diagram sufficient to
cover the total expenses of the improvement. Wadi of said lots,
parts of lots, and lands shall be separately assessed in propor-
tion to the estimated benefits to.be received by it. Said assess-
ment shall refer to said lots, parts of lots and lands upon said
diagram by the respective red ink number thereof, and shall show
the names of the owners, if known, otherwise designating them as
unknown.
Section 4: That all of said work and improvement shall
be made and the assessment therefor shall be levied pursuant to
the providions of Act 8216 of the legislature of the State of
California, designated as the "Tree Planting Act of 1915.
The foregoing resolution of intention is approved and signed
this 10th. day of November, 1927.'
