Section 1: That the public interest , and conven-

ence require, and that it is the intention of the City

Council of the City of Anaheim to order the following de-

scribed street viork to be done in said city, to-wit:

That alleys twenty feet wide be laid out and opened
along the westerly line of Original C Lot 41, along the
southerly line of Original City Lots 42 and 43, and along

the westerly line of Original City Lot 47; also that an

alley ten feet wide be laid out and opened along the east—
erly line of Original City Lot 46.
Section 2: Thal, tLe land necessary to be taken for

Section 4: All of the herein described street work
shall be done pursuant to the provisions of an act of the
legislature of the State of California, entitled, "An Act
to provide for laying out, openinS, extending, widening,
straightening, or closinE up, in whole or in part any street,
square, lane, alley, court or place within municipalities
and to condemn and acnuire any and all land end property
necessary or convenient for that purpose," approved March
6 1889, and the ,several acts amendatory thereof and sup-
Plefi thereto.
Section 5: The Anaheirn Bulletin, a daily newspaper
of general circulation, printed, published and circulated
in said City of -4 naheim, is hereby designated as the news-
paper in whidh the Street Superintendent's notice of the
passage of this resolution shall be published.
The Street Superintendent of said City of Anahei shall,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to forthwith cause
to be conspicuously posted along tie line of said contem-
plated work or improvement, at not more than three hu.-.C.red
feet in distance apart, but not less than three in all,
notices of the passage of this rw!.Ution at the tune and
