3 RESOLVMBY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AHAXJI
4 that the pUblle interest and convenience require that the City of
5 Anaheim be sonod for the purpose of establishing districts within
6 which it shall be lawful to build resideness separate and dis-
7 t inct fret z0 **8 Iftorain it shall be 1 &WW to operate certain
8 businesses and occupations, which residential districts shall be
9 placced, in the cones wherein it shall be unlawful to conduct
10 businesses or Occupations, and zones wherein it shall be unlawful
11 to build more than one- family residences, and that certain other
12 districts be provided in the City of Anaheim wherein it shall be
13 lawful to conduct businesses of certain characters and other
14 zones wherein it shall be lawful to build mxltiple t1wellings and
15 unlawful to conduct certain businesses or occupations.
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by this Board of Trustees of the City
17 of Anaheim that the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim be
18 and it is hereby authorized and directed to zones said City of
19 Anaheim, and indicate upon a map of said O ty of Anaheim they zones
20 wherein it shall be lawful to erect single residences and unlawful
21 to erect bnsin*sses or multiple dwellings, and zones wherein. it
22 shall be lawful to erect businesses of certain characters and un-
23 lawful to conduct businesses of certain other characters, and zone
24 wherein it shall be lawful to erect multiple residences and un.lav
25 furl to erect certain businesses.
26 Said Planning Commission is hereby suftorized and directed to
27 indicate said zones on a map of said City of Anaheim, and to pre-
28 pares an Ordina as of" the City of Anaheim, wing it unlawful. to
29 erect businesses in the certain zones not specified or indicated.
30 on said map to be lawful therein,
31 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Building Inspector of the
32 City of Anaheim be and he is hereby instructed to issues permits

only in accordance with the Plans Or map of the City of Anaheim,
as adopted by said Planning Commission, and he is hereby auth-
orized and directed to refuse to permit any building to be ereotm
in the City of Anaheim not conforming with the plan adopted by thi
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, or in accordance with
the Ordinance to be submitted to this Board of Trustees by the
Plmning Commission of the City of Anaheim.
The foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted the 28th day
of July, 1927.
