RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OFNANAHEIM
ACCEPTING PROPOSALS AND awarding contracts.
WHEREAS, the Clerk of the City of Anaheim published a
notice calling for sealed proposals for the furnishing to the
City of +Anaheim of Incandescent Lamps, Cedar Poles, Cross Arms
Pole Line Hardware, Guy Wire, Insulators, Conduit and Fittings,
Copper Wire, Fire Hydrants, Gate Valves, Wrought Iron Pipe,
Cast Iron Pipe Fittings, Chlorinator, Sprinkling Truck, Road
Oil, Ornamental Lighting Standards, Ornamental Lighting Units
and Electric deters, and
WHEREAS, at the time specified in saLd..: notice, the Board
of Trustees of said City publicly opened and examined said
proposals and the Board having taken the matter under considera-
tion, does find that the Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing
Company is the;loweet responsible bidder for the furnishing to
the City of Anaheim of Ornamental Street Lighting Standards
and Ornamental Lighting Units, and
WHEREAS, the Duncan Meter Works is the lowest responsible
bidderfor the furnishing to the City of Anaheim of Electric
Meters,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Baard of Trustees
of the City of Anaheim that the Westinghouse Electric and
Manufacturing .`Company is the lowest responsible bidder
for the furnishing to the City of Anaheim of Ornamental Street
Lighting Standards and Ornamental Lighting Units and the Board
of Trustees hereby accepts said proposal according to the terms
thereof and the City Clerk is hereby authocized to return to the
unsuccessful bidders their certified checks or bonds accompanying
their proposals.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the
City of Anaheim, that the Duncan Meter Works is the lowest
