12/23/1926-001RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS ON STREET
LIGHTING STANDARDS AND UNITS, ELECTRW METERS, TRANSFORMERS AND LAMPS,
FIRE HYDRANTS, DEEP WELL PUMP AND MOTOR, SPRINKLING TRUCK, CHLORINATta
AND ROAD OIL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:
That the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to publish a notice for a period of two weeks in the
Anaheim Gazette, calling for sealed proposals or bids for furnish-
ing the following equipment and supplies to said City of Anaheim:
Ornamental Street Lighting Standards and Units required during
the year 1927.
Electric meters required during the year 1927 on basis of contract
amount between $1000.00 and $5000.00.
Electric Transformers re uired during the year 1927 on basis of
contract amount between 3000.00 and $5000.00.
Electric Lamps required during the year 1927 on basis of contract
amount between $1200.00 and $2500.00.
25 Fire Hydrants with 42 bury pieces, in accordance with
"Specifications for fire_ #ydrant, Series of 1924".
1 Deep Well Pump and Motor, in accordance with specifications
"Series of 1926 -B adopted December 23, 1926.
1 Street Sprinkling Truck in accordance with specifications adopted
December 23, 1926.
1 Swimming Pool Chlorinator in accordance with specifications adopted
December 23, 1926.
3000 barrels of Road Oil, in accordance with specifications adopted
January 14, 1926.
Each proposal shall be accompanied by ac certified check or bid
bond, payable to City of Anaheim, in an amount not less than ten
per cent of the amount of such proposal, except that proposals for
lighting standards and lighting units shall be accompanied by checks
or bonds in the amounts of $400.00 and $200.00 respectively.
The foregoing resolution is approved, signed and attested
this 23rd day of December, 1926.
