The Board of Trustees of the city of Anaheim do resole as follows: lst. Resolved, that a rupture and destruction of a portion of the outfall sewer exists, and has existed since Monday, the 6th day of December, 1926, and that the seir-age being discharp--e into said outfall sewer by the cities of Santa Ana, Orange, Anahei , Fullerton and La Habra, Placentia and Garden - Sanitary Dis- tricts is escaping from said outfall sewer in great volume, satuTa. ing impregnating adjacent lands and the soil near a municipal orate supply, 2nd. Resolved, that public interest and necessity demands the immediate repair and r _-storation of said ruptured and destroyed outfall sewer, and the expenditure of public money to safeguard the life and health of a la3-ge number of people. 3rd. Resolved, that the city of Santa Ana is hereby designating as the.contracting city, and hereby authorized, impowe3 ed and directed to employ such engineers, attorneys, and other skill nece to enter into a contract or contracts for the immediate and complete repair and restoration of the ruptured and destroyed portion of the outfall sewer, in order to im , i - liediately prevent the saturation and polution Of saidsoil and runicipal wate: supply. -1 0 3 o 2 3 � 41 5 6 7. 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM: Whereas, the voters of this State are to vote upon the ques- tion of whether or not the Wright Act of the State of California should be repealed, which question is designated upon the ballots as proposition No. 9, and Whereas, the repeal of the Wright Act would withdraw the assistance of the State Courts from the enforcement of the Volstea� Act, and leave the enforcement of said Act up to a small number of Federal officers, and two,. Federal Courts, and Whereas, it is the onion of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim that a repeal o I f the 7right Act would be disastroul to: law enforcement within the State of California, Now therefore, be it' resqjved by the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim that this Board g i o� record as being opposed to the repeal of the Wright A ct, ct, and that by this Resolution the people shall be urged to vote against the repeal of the Wright Act The foregoing Resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim, held on the 28th 'day of Octobe 19t President of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim.
