10/14/1926-010f IN THE MATTER OF PAVING NORTH CLEMENTINE STREET IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION OF INTENTION N0, 199 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE PAVING OF THE ROADWAY OF A PORTION OF XORTH, C 2 ., STREET IN SAID CITY, RESOLVED BY THE BOARS OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM: SECTION 1: That the public interest and convenience require and that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim to order the following described street work to be done in said city, to -wit3 That the roadway of North Clementine Street, from the northerly line of West Sycamore Street to tbm southerly line of West North Street, be graded to the official grade and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement five (5) inches thick and forty -three (43) feet in width between curbs, with 23z inch by 4 1/8 inch part circle corrugated culverts on both sides of said roadway across West Wilhelmina Street. SECTION 2: That, whereas, said contemplated work and improvement, in the opinion of the Boars? of Trustees, is of more than local or ordinary public benefit, said Board hereby makes the expense of said work and improvement chargeable upon a district within said City of Anaheim, which district said Board hereby declares to be the district benefited by said work and improvement and to be assessed to pay "the costs and expenses thereof, which said district includes all the following lots or parcels of land in said city, to -wit: Lots 6 to 10 inclusive; Block A; Lots 9 to 16 inclusive, Block B; Lots 1 to 5 inclusive, Block C; and Lots l to 8 inclusive, Block D. Park View Tract, as per map recorded in Book 12 Page 20, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, Lots 16 to 31 inclusive, Block A; Lots 1 to 8 inclusive, Block B. Owens & Jones Tract No. 237, as per map recorded in Book 13, Page 24, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County And Lots 9'to 15 inclusive, Tr No, 336, as per map recorded. in Book 15, Page 19, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County. The boundaries of said district are as shown on maps marked and designated "Diagram showing property to be assessed for improvements, on North Clementine Street, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 199 of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim," which said maps are on file in the office of the City Engineer of said City. -1- SECTION 3: That said work shall be done in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor, which said plans were approved and adopted by the Board of Trustees of said city on the 23rd day of September, 1926, and are marked and designated "Paving Plan North Clementine Street, Street Improvement Igo, 57, Sheets 1 and 2,# and are on file in the office of the city Engineer of said city, and which said specifications are entitled and designated "tpecifications No. 34, For the Construction of Asphaltic Concrete Pavement." "General Specifications No. 36, For Public Work,u "Specifications No. 40 for Corrugated Iron Culverts," and Ordinance No. 404 governing the construction of cement curbs, sidewalks and driveways, all of which specifications have been heretofore adopted by said Boaxd of Trustees and are on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City. SECTION 4: That the cost and expenses of all work done on street crossings and intersections shall be paid out of the treasury of said city, SECTION 5: That serial bonds shall be issued to represent assessments of $25.00 or over for the cost and expenses of said work and improvement; that said serial bonds shall extend over a period of nine years from the seoond day of January next succeeding the fifteenth day of thetnext November following their date, and an even annual proportion of the principal sura thereof shall be payable, by coupoij, on the 2nd day of January of each year fufilewing the fifteenth day of the next November after their date, until the whole is paid, and the interest shall be paid semi - annually, by coupon, on the 2nd days of January and July, respectively, of each year, at the rate of seven percent per annum on all sums unpaid, until the whole of said principal and interest are paid. SECTION 6. That aid Board of Trustees hereby fixes Thursday the 4th day of November, 1926, at the hour of eight o =clock P.M. at the Council Chamber of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim, in the City Hall, in said city, as the time and place when and where any and asipersons having objections to the proposed work or improvements may appear before said Board of Trustees and show cause why such proposed work and improvement should not be carried out in accordance with this resolution; provided, that all such protests must be in writing and must be delivered to the City Clerk before the hour set for the hearing of objections. SECTION 7; That the Anaheim Bulletin is hereby designated as the newspaper printed, published and circulated in said City in which this resolution shall be published, and the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim is hereby directed torrpublish this resolution by two successive insertions in said newspaper. That the Street Superintendent shall immediately cause to be conspicuously posted along the line of said contemplated work or improvement and in front of all property liable to be assessed, notice of t1 passage of this Resolution of Intention, in the manner and form required by Law. -2- . ro That all of the herein proposed work and improvement shall be done and said serial bonds shallbe issued under and in pursuance of an Act of the Legislature of the State of California, designated the NImprovement Act of 1911, and all acts amendatory thereof.
