XZSOLUTION OF TEE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DECLARING RESULT OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN TkE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ON MONDAY, THE 12th DAY OF APRIL, 1926.
WHEREAS, a general municipal election was held and conducted
in the City of Anaheim, on Monday, the 12th day of April, 1926,
as required by law, and
WHEREAS, it appears that notice of said election was duly and
legally given, that toting precincts were properly established fox
said election, that election officers were appointed, and election
supplies furnished, and that in all respects, said election was
held and conducted, and the votes cast thereat received and can-
vassed, and returns thereof made and declared in the time, form
manner as required by the laws of the State of California, governi
elections in cities of the sixth class, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of said City met at the chamb
of said Board of Trustees on Monday, the 19th day of April, 1926,
to canvass the returns of said election, and install the newly
elected officers, and that said Board of Trustees did oanvassthe
said
election
at said
time, in
the manner and form required by law
as a
result of
which,
the said
Board of Trustees finds that the
number of votes cast, the names of the persons voted for, and oth
matters required by law, to be as hereinafter stated,
NOW THEREFORE, the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim
do resolve as follows:
That
said regular municipal election was
held and
conducted i
the City
of Anaheim, on Monday, the 12th day
of April,
1926 at th
time, and in the form and manner, as required by law;
That there were nine voting precincts established for the
purpose of holding said election, consisting of a consolidation of
the regular election precincts established by order, of the Board
of Supervisors for holding general state and county elections,
as follows:

"Anaheim Precinct No. 3."

Consolidated Voting Precinct "Q", comprising state and
county precincts designated as "Anaheim Precinct No. 14" and
"Anaheim Precinct 80. 15."
Consolidated Voting Precinct •H", comprising state and
county precincts designated as "Anaheim Precinct Bo. 16" and
"Anaheim Precinct loo. 17.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "I ", comprising state and
county precincts designated as "Anaheim Precinct Bo. 18" and
"Anaheim Precinct Bo. 19."
That the Whole number of votes cast at said election in
Consolidated Voting Precinct "A" Was 293.
That the Whole number of votes cast at said election in
Consolidated Toting Precinct "8" W as 432.

Be it farther resolved that at said general municipal.
election, Anders W. Franzen, William D. Grafton and Carl F.
Leonard received the highest number of votes given for the office
of member of the Board of Trustees, full term, and they are
hereby severally declared elected to such office , respectively.
The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim shall, and he is
hereby directed to enter upon the records of the Board of Trusteb
of said City a statement of the result of said election, showing:
1. The whole number of votes cast in said City.
2. The names of the persons voted for.
3. The office to fill which each of said persons were
voted for.
4. The number of votes given at each of said precincts for
each of such persons.
5. The number of votes given in said City for each of said

persons.
The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim shall immediately
make out and deliver to each of such persone,elected, a certificate
of election, signed by him, and duly authenticated; he shall also
impose the constitutional oath of office and have them subscribe
thereto, whereupon they shall be inducted into the offices to
which they have been elected.
The foregoing resolution is signed, approved, and attested
by me this 117` day of April, 1926
