A Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the city of
Anaheim, as the legislative body thereof, declaring and determin-
ing that the public interest and necessity demands the completion
of the outfall sewer, and that it will be for the interest and
advantage of the city of Santa Ana,city of Anaheim, City of Ful-
lerton, city of Orange, city of La Habra, Placentia Sanitary Dis-
trict, and Garden Grove Sanitary District to enter into a joint
agreement authorizing and providing for the joint construction
of the completion of the outfall sewer, and the joint maintenance
thereof, and further providing for the joint payment of the cost
and expense of and for the joint use, benefit, and maintenance
of such completed outfall sewer*
Whereas, the city of Anaheim, city of Santa Ana, the
city of Fullerton and the city of Orange have heretofore jointly
constructed and now jointly, with the city of La Habra, Placentia
Sanitary District and Garden Grove Sanitary District, maintain and
use an outfall sewer, consisting of a sewer treatment plant and a
sewer pipeline, extending from the sewer treatment plant to and
into the waters of the Pacific Ocean;
Whereas, public interest and necessity demands the com-
pletion of the outfall sewer, said completion to consist of the
acquisition and installation in the t r eatment plant of two addi-
tional sewer screengfor the screening of sewage, the acquisition
and installation of a pump for pumping sewage, and the necessary
machinery and power for operating said pump, and also the acqui-
sition of the necessary sewer pipeline with which to construct a-d
the construction of approximately three thousand one hundred (3100)
feet of additional sewer pipeline;

3rd. Resolved, that the city of Anaheim be and is
hereby 13ound and obligated to pay its proportionate part of the
cost of constructing the completion of the o utfall sewer, to -wit:
15.47 per cent. of such cost, the same to be paid at such times
and in such installments as may be provided for in such joint
agreement.
4th. Resolved, that the President of the Board of
Trustees and Clerk of the city of Anaheim are hereby wmpowered,
authorized and directed to sign, countersign, and deliver in the
name of and under the seal of the city of Anaheim said joint
agreement.
The foregoing resolution was introduced, considered, and
passed by the Board of Trustees of the city of Anaheim at a regui ar
meeting thereo f held the 25th day of Larch, 1926, by the affirma-
tive vote of the following named members of said Board of Trustees:
