A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 72R-475,
PERSONNEL RULE NO. 3 - COMPENSATION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AMAHEIM that Personnel Rule No. 3 - COMPENSATION, is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"RULE 3. COMPENSATION
Section 3.0 The City Management Representative, under
the Direction of the City Manager, shall be responsible
for recommending wages, rates, and salary schedules for
each job class in the classified service, the City
Manager, City Attorney, City Clerk, and the City Treas-
urer.
Prior to any such recommendations, the City Management
Representative and representatives of employee"organiza-
tions which are recognized for purposes of meeting and
conferring, shall meet and confer in good faith to en-
deavor to reach agreement on matters concerning wages,
hours, and other terms and conditions of employment in
classifications rapresented by such employee organizations.
At such time as agreement is reached for such classifica-
tions, the City Management Representative and the
recognized employee organizations shall jointly submit
a written memorandwn of such understanding, which shall
not be binding, to the City Council for determination."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this
Resolution shall be October 20, 1972.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 31st day of October , 1972.
