R33OLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, OMER-
ING THE CLOSING UP OF A CERTAIN PORTION OP NORTH OLIVE STREET AND
A PORTION OF A CERTAIN ALLEY IN THE SCHAFFER.OSWALD SUBDIVISION IN
THE OITY OF ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA.
R.-,'sOLV&D BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEE OF THE CITY OF ANAMIL:
THAT TVH?,R.&AS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim
did, on the 27th day of November, 1925, pass its Resolution of
Intention No. -190 to order the closing up of a portion of North
Olive Street and a portion of a certain alley in the Schaffer-
Osrald Subdivision in the City of Anaheim, California, which por-
tion of said North Olive Street ana a portion of a certain alley
in the Schaffer- Oswald, Subdivision is hereinafter described; and
MR&AS, notice of the passage of said Resolution of Intenti(
No. 190, headed "Notice of Public Works" was duly and legally
posted along the line of said contemplated work ana improvement,
as appears by the affidavit of Fred A. Bates, on file in the offi
of the City Clerk of said City, and
7HERS'AS, a similar notice of public worke was auly and legal
published as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of
Lotds H. Louden, and
7 M'R AS, the time within which ,,
protest to said proposed im-
provement expired on the 44th day of December, 1926, and
W HEREAS, no protests to saia improvement were filed, ana sa
3oara of Trustees, having now acquired jurisdiction to order the
closing of that portion of North Olive Street and a portion of a
certain alley in the Schaffer-Oswald Subdivision;
R''SOLVED that the public interest ana convenience require
the closing of that portion of North Olive Street anti a portion of
a certain alley in the Schaffer- Oswald Subdivision in the Cit of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, ELescribea as foll�ws*
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 7 of said. Schaffer-
Oswald Subdivision, thence Northwardly along the easterly
line of said Lot 7 one hundred fifty (160) feet; thence
'.79st along the north line of Lots 7, 8, anti 9 of saia
subdivision one hundred fifty (lbO) feet; thence north-
wardly fifteen (lb) feet to the southwest corner of Lot
6 of said subdivision; thence east along the south line

of said Lot 6, one hundred fifty (150) feet; thence north-
wardly along the easterly line of Lots 6 5, 4, and 6, of
said subuivison, two hundred ninety one i291) feet to the
northeast corner of said Lot 6; thence Last zorty (40)
feet; thence southwaraly along the present easterly line
of Olive Street four hundred fifty-six (456) feet to the
north line of Last La Palma-Avenue; thence west forty (40)
feet to the place of beginning. Reserving to the City of
Anaheim, for purposes of constructing, maintaining and
operating thereon sanitary sewers and flushing crevices,
an easement over a strip of land ten (10) feet wide along
the northerly two hundred sixty (460) fe6t of said por-
tion of Uttvb Street to be vacated, being five (5) feet
in width on each side of the center line of said sanitary
sewer as now constructed, and being nine (9) feet in width
east and one (1) foot in width west of the center ling of
said Olive Street,
IT IS HAIHOY ORDER&D that the portion of North Olive Street
the portion of a certain alley in the Schaffer-Oewalo- Subdivision,
abgve,described, be, and the same are hereby closed and abandoned
by the City of Anaheim, except that the City of Anaheim reserves
the right to construct, maintain ana operate a water supply line
over and across the lands so vacated, for the purpose of supplying
water to sewer flushing devices now constructed, or Mich may here
after 4a constructed on said abandoned lands.
The foregoing Resolution is signed, approved and attested by
