12/29/1925-034r IN THE MATT OF PAVIN SOUTH OH STREET RESOLUT ORDERING NORK RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIML SECTION 1: That the public interest and convenience require and the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 187 passed and adopted by said Board of Trustees on the'l3th day of October, 1925, hereby orders the following described street work to be done in said city, to -wit: That the roadway of South Ohio Street, from the southerly curb line of 'hest Broadway to the northerly property line of Vest Santa Ana Street, be graded to the official grade and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement five (5) inches thick and nominally thirty -five (35) feet in width between curbs. The portion of the above work to be paid for by the City of Anaheim out of its Treasury consists of that portion of said roadway between the southerly curb line of Weict. Broadway and the southerly prop6rt* .1tne °_ said West Broadway,and said Board of Trustees in said Resolution of Intention made the expenses of all other work chargeable upon a district within said city, which said Resolution of Intention is hereby referred to for a description of the worm and improvement and the property to be assessed.therefor, and all other matters doncerning said work and improvement. SECTION 2: It is further hereby determined and de- Glared in pursuance of said Resolution of Intention No. 187 that serial bonds shall be issued to reprdsent assessments of $25.00 or over for the cost and expense of said work and improvement; that said serial bonds shall extend over a period of nine years from the second day of January next succeeding their date, and an even annual proportion of the principal sum thereof shall be payable, by coupon, on the 2nd day of January every year after their date until the whole is paid, and the interest shall be semi - annually, by coupon, on the 2nd days of January and July-respectively, of each year, aft the rate of seven per cent per annum on all sums unpaid, until the whole of said principal and interest are paid. SECTION 3: All of there herein proposed work and improvement shall be done and said serial bonds shall be issued under and in pursuance of an Act of the Legislature of the State of California designated the "Improvement Act of 1911," and all acts amendatory thereof. SECTION 4= The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim is hereby directed to post conspicuously for five days, on or near the door of the council chamber of the Board of Trustees of said city, a notice of said work inviting sealed proposals or bids, and copies of all specifications bentioned in said Resolution of Intention No. 187; he is also hereby diredted to cause a copy of said notice to be published twice in the Anaheim Bulletin, a daily newspaper of general circulation printed, published and circulated in said city, which said newspaper is hereby designated for that purpose. Said notice shall invite sealed proposals or bids for doing the work ordered and shall refer to the specificatio#s posted and on file, and shall require all proposals or bids offered to be accompanied by a check payable to the City of Anaheim, certified by a responsible bank, for an amount which shall not be less than ten percent of the aggregate amount of the proposal, or by a bond for the said amount and so payable, signed by the bidder and two sureties who shall justify, before any officer competent to administer an oath, in double the said amount over and above all statutory exemptions. -2- Said sealed proposals or bids shall be delivered to the City Clerk of said City on or before eight o'clock P.M. of Thursday, the 14th day of January, 1926.
