RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTEST.
(Under Resolution of Intention No. 186.)
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Ana-
heim did on the 13th day of October, 1925 pass its Resolution of
Intention No. 186 to order certain work to be done and
improvement to be made in said City consisting of the paving of
the roadway of said portions of South Illinois Street, South
Ohio Street, and Melrose Street, which Resolution of Intention is
hereby expressly referred to for further particulars; and
WHEREAS, certain owners of property liable to be
assessed for said work, made written protests or objections in
writing and delivered the same to the clerk not later than the
hour set for hearing such objections, and
WHEREAS, at the time set for hearing said Board of
Trustees proceeded to hear the same and all of the said protests
or objections having been heard and duly considered and said
Board of Trustees being required to pass upon the same, it is
1 hereby
RESOLVED, by said Board of Trustees of the City of
Anaheim that all the said protests and objections against said
proposed work or improvement be, and the same are hereby overruled
and denied.
IT IS ALSO HEREBY RESOLVED, by said Board of
Trustees that it appearing to it, it accordingly hereby finds that
said owners so making protests against said work proposed to be ord
ered as aforesaid are less than one -half of the owners of property
to be assessed for the proposed work and are also less than one-

half the owners of property fronting on the proposed work.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that, all proceedings and
things required by law having been regularly and legally performed,
said Board of Trustees has acquired jurisdiction to order said work
or improvement
