(Adopting specifications and calling for bids) RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM; SECTION 1. That those certain specifications marked "Specifications for Standard Nrought Iron Pipe Fittings and Sprit kler Heads, Series of 1924," which were filed in the office of t] City Clerk of the City of Anaheim on the //,ZW day of �r 1924, be and the same are hereby adopted as specifications for standard wrought iron pipe fittings and ,sprinkler heads for the City of Anaheim. SECTION 2. That the City Clerk of said City be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to publish a notice once a week for a period of two weeks in the Orange County Plain Dealer, a newspaper of general circulation, published in said City, calling for sealed proposals or bids for the furnishing of standard wrough iron pipe fittings and sprinkler heads in accordance with said specifications, to said City, Said bids shall be received at the office of the City Clerk of said City up to eight o'clock P. 11, of Thursday, the h day of biii"r, 1926 Said Notice shall require the bidders to state the name of manufacturer and time of delivery. SECTION 3, Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check in an amount equal to not less than ten per cent of the amount of such bid, or by a bond in like amount, executed by two sureties, who shall Justify in double the amount of said bond in the manner required by law, or by a corporate surety duly quali- fied to execute such bond. SECTION 4. Such bond shall be executed by at least two good and sufficient sureties who shall Justify in double the amount of bond in unencumbered property within the State of Calif ornia, or by a corporate surety, as provided by law, Such bond shall be subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim. The Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
