VER M O NT AVENUE- RESOLUTION DETER2viINING THAT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES HA3 ACQUIRED JURISDICTION TO ORDER THE DOING OF T_ E WORK. WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim, 13+h November, did, on the day of ; 1924, pass and adopt its Reso- lution of Intention No. 183 to order the following described stree work to be done in said City, to -wit: That a portion of a certain alley running from the South -r We S erly property line of E South Street to the Northerly property Vermor)+Avenoe line of West A in said City be closed up in part, and MEREA.S, after the adoption of said Resolution of Inten- tion, the Street Superintendent of said City did cause to be con- spicuously posted along the said line of said contemplated work or improvement, at the time, in the manner and in the fora pro- vided by law, notice of the passage of said Resolution of Inten- tion No. 183, as will more fully appear from the affidavit of E. P. Hapgood, on file in the office of the City Clerk of the laic City, and WHEREAS, said Street Superintendent did, at the time and in the manner required by law, cause a notice similar in substance to be published for a period of not less than ten days in the Orange County Plain Dealer, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, as will more full appear from the affidavit of R. W. That said Board of Trustees does hereby find and determine that it has acquired jurisdiction to order the loin of said work in accordance with said Resolution of Intention No. 183.
