I8 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM BE- CLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE CLOSING UP IN PART OF AN ALLEY FROM THE SOUTHERLY PROPERTY LINE OF MST SOUTH STREET TO THE NOR- THERLY PROPERTY LINE OF 'NEST tRen *�T IN SAID CITY. Vr RMONT AVENUE.. RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF TIM CITY OF ANAHEIM: SECTION 1. That the public interest and also the public convenience require and that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim to order the following described street work to be done in said City, to -wit: That a portion of a certain alley running from the South erly property line of South Street to the Northerly property line of nest ea said City be closed up in part. SECTION 2. That the land deemed necessary to be taken thereforK and that portion of said alley herein proposed to be clo. sed up is situated in said City of Anaheim and is described as fo lows, t o -wit : A part of the lands formerly of Dreyfus, at al., situate within the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the present Southerly line of West South Street, extended, whic� point is 172.12 feet Westerly from the point of intersection of t present Southerly property line of 'Nest South Street and the pres- ant Westerly property line of South Lemon Street; thence 'Westerly alon the present Southerly property line of West South Street, tended, 10.65 feet; thence 5- 15 49' -10 " -E 1289.15 feet, more or less, to the present Northerly property line of 'test Vermont A thence Easterly along the present Northerly property line of West Vermont Avenue, extended, 2.90 feet; thenoe N- 15 28' -30 " -W paral with and distant uniformly 203.37 feet Westerly from the present monumented center line of South Lemon Street, 1289.15 feet to the place of beginning, containing an area of 01 acres, more or less 400 (1) 00 0 • a t j 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 i 8 9 10 11 12 13 rc m W 14 W 0 U 3 a � 15 a t a 16 U t 17 18 19 20 21 SECTION 3. That the exterior boundaries- of the district) of lands to be affected and benefited by said work and improvement) and to be assessed to pay the damages, coats and expenses thereof, County of Orange, State of California, which district is within, the City of Anahei� and is particularly described as folloss,to -wit; Beginning at the point of intersection of the present Southerly property line of West South Street and the present Wes- terly property line of South Lemon Street; thence Southerly along the present Westerly property line of South Lemon Street, one thou sand two hundred eighty -nine and fifteen one- hundredths (1289.15) Av'LnuQ feet to the present Northerly property lime of Test ; thence Westerly along said present Northerly line three hundred twenty -six and twenty -four one- hundredths (326.24) feet; thence Northerly parallel to the present Westerly property line of South Lemon Street one thousand two hundred eighty -nine and fifteen one- hundredths (1289.15) feet to the present Southerly property line of Nest South Street ; thence Easterly along said present Southerly line three hundred twenty -six and twenty -four one- hundredths(326.2 feet to the point of beginning; excepting therefrom the land to be taken and excepting any land within said boundaries contained whic is now a part of a public street or alley. SECTION 4, The Orange County Plain Dealer, a daily news paper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, is hereby designated as the daily newspaper published and circulated in said City in which the Street Superintendent's notice of the passage of this resolution shall be published. The Street Superintendent of said city shall cause to be conspicuously posted along the line of said contemplated work and improvement, notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intentio in the manner and form required by lase. SECTION 5. The herein proposed work and improvement shall be done in pursuance to an Act of the Legislature of the State of California, entitled "An Act to provide for laying out, opening, extending, widening, straightening or closing up in whole or in part any street, square, lane, alley, court or place within municipalities and to condemn and acquire any and all land and property necessary or convenient for that purpose," approved Marc 6, 1889, and all acts amendatory thereof and supplementary thereto.
