RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR PUMP,
WHEREAS, in accordance with a notice calling for bids
for a nine-hundred gallon pump per minute against one - hundred -ten
foot head, in accordance with plans and specifications as set
forth in a certain notice calling for bids dated October 24,1924,
published in the Orange County Plain Dealer, as required by law,
certain bids for said pump were received, and
WHEREAS, said bids were publicly opened and read as pro-
vided by law," on the 13th day of November, 1924, by the Board of
Trustees of the City of Anaheim, and
WHEREAS, it appears to said Board of Trustees that the
bid of the Byron Jackson Pump Manufacturing Company is the lowest
responsible bid, and that said bidder is the lowest responsible
bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, said Board of Trustees of the City of
Anaheim does hereby resolve: That the bid of said Byron Jackson
Pump Manufacturing Company be accepted, and the contract for the
furnishing of said pump and completion of said work be awarded to
said bidder.
AND IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that the bonds of the unsuc
cessful bidders be returned to them by the Clerk, and that the
City Attorney be and he is hereby instructed to prepare the neces
sary contract for said work.
