That those certain specifications marked "Specifica- Itions for a nine - hundred gallon pump per minute against one -hun dre ten foot head, which were filed in the office of the City Clerk of 7 'the City of Anaheim on the 25th day of September, 1924, be, and th 7 ',, the are hereby adopted as specifications for a pump for said city 2. That the City Clerk of said City be, and he is here - b authorized and directed to once a week y publish a not ice�tor a period of two weeks in the Orange County Plain Dealer, a newspaper of general circulation, published in said City, calling for sealed proposals or bids for the furnishing of a nine - hundred gallon pump in accor ance with said specifications, to said City. Said bids shall be received at the office of the City Clerk of said City up to eight o'clock P. M. of Thursday, the 13th day of November, 1924. Said Notice shall require the bidders to state the name of manufacturer and time of delivery. 3. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check in an amount equal to not less than ten per cent of the amount of su bid, or by a bond in like amount, executed by two sureties, who 22 ' justify in double the amount of said bond in the manner re- 23 quired by law, or by a corporate surety duly qualified to execute 24 ;,'such bond. 25 26 27 28 4. The successful bidder must,, within ten days after ( acceptance of his bid, execute an agreement with the City of Ana- heim, for the delivery of said nine - hundred gallon pump within ten Idays after the execution of said. agreement, and bond in the penal 29 :sum equal to fifty y per cent of the contract price conditioned upon 30 the faithful performance of such agreement. Such bond shall be subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim. The Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim reserves tr right to reject any and all bids.
