RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR STOVE PIPE CASING.
WHEREAS, in accordance with a notice calling for bids
for the furnishing of stove pipe casing for a certain well and the
installation of same, in accordance with plans and specifications
as set forth in a certain notice calling for bids dated Uctober
24 1924, published in the Orange County Plain healer, as re quire
by law, certain bids for said stove pipe casing were received, an
WHEREAS, said bids were publicly opened and read as pro-
vided by law, on the 1St day of November, 1924, by the Board of
Trustees of the City of Anaheim, and
WHEREAS, it appears to said Board of Trustees that the
bid of R. F. Brown is the lowest responsible bid, and that said
bidder is the lowest responsible bidder.
NON THEREFORE, said Board of Trustees of the City of
Anaheim does hereby resolve: That the bid of said h. F. brown oe
accepted, and the contract for the furnishing of said stove pipe
casing and completion of said work be awarded to said bidder.
AND IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that the bonds of the unsuo
cessful bidders be returned to them by the Clerk, and that the Ci
Attorney be and he is hereby instructed to prepare the necessary
contract for said work.
