RESOLUTION.
(adopting specifications and calling for bids)
RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:
1. That those certain specifications marked "Speeifiea-
tions for stove pipe casing, for well, installed complete, which
were filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim

day of September,
1924,
be,
and the
same are
hereby
! adopted as
specifications for
stove
pipe
casing
for well,
installe
complete, for said city.
2. That the City Clerk of said City be, and he is here -
once a week
by authorized and directed to publish a notice/for a period of two
weeks in the Orange County Plain Dealer, a newspaper of general
c irculation, published in said City, calling for sealed proposals
or bids for the furnishing of stove pipe casing for well installed
complete, in accordance with said specifications, to said City.
Said bids shall be received at the office of the City Clerk of sai

City up to eight o'clock P. M. of Thursday, the 13th day of Novem-
ber, 1924.
Said Notice shall require the bidders to state the name
of manufacturer and time of delivery.
3. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check in
I sa amount equal to not less than ten per cent of the amount of sue
bid, or by a bond in like amount, executed by two sureties, who
ishall justify in double the amount of said bond in the manner re-
l f quired by law, or by a corporate surety duly qualified to execute
II such bond.
4. The successful bidder must, within ten days after th
!acceptance of his bid, execute an agreement with the City of Ana-
heim for the delivery and installation of said stove Pipe casing
I ; I for well installed complete within ten days after the execution of
�ls ai d agreement, and a bond in the penal sum equal to fifty per cen

of the contract price conditioned upon the faithful performance o;
such agreement, Such bond shall be executed by at least two good
and sufficient sureties who shall justify in double the amount of
bond in unencumbered property within the State of California., or
by a corporate surety, as provided by law. Such bond shall be su:
ject to the approval of the Board of Trustees of the City of Ana-
; he im.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim reserves th
right to reject any and all bids„
The foregoing Resolution is signed, approved and attests
