(Adopting specifications and calling for bids) RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM: SECTION 1. That those certain specif iciations Marked 'Specifications for a fire truck for the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, Series 1924," which were filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim on the ,13"_ day of October, 1924, be and the same are hereby adopted as speci- fications for a fire truck for the City of Anaheim. SECTION 2. That the City Clerk of said City be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to publish a notice once a week for a period of two weeks in the Orange County Plain Dealer, a newspaper of general circulation, published in said City, calling for sealed proposals or bids for the furnishing of a fire truck in accordance with said specifications, to said City. Said bids shal be received at the office of the City Clerk of said City up to eight o'clock P.M. of Thursday, the 13th day of November, 1924, Said Notice shall require the bidders to state the name of manufacturer and time of delivery. SECTION 3. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check in an amount equal to not less than ten per cent of the amou of such bid, or by a bond in like amount, executed by two sureties who shall justify in double the amount of said bond in the manner required by law, or by a corporate surety duly qualified to execut such bond. SECTION 4. The successful bidder must, within ten days after the acceptance of his bid, execute an agreement with the Cit of Anaheim for the delivery of said fire truck within ten days af- ter the execution of said agreement, and bond in the penal sum e4ual to fifty per cent of the contract price conditioned upon the faithful performance of such agreement.
