( Adopting specifications and calling for bids) RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUS -TEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM: SECTION 1. That those certain specifications marked r3pecifications for a power lawn mower for the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, Series 1924," which were filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim on �3 -- day of October,1924,be and the same are hereby adopted as specifications for a power lawn mover for the City of Anaheim. SECTION 2. That the City Clerk of said City be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to publish a notice once a week for a period of two weeks in the Orange County Plain Dealer, a. newspaper of general circulation, published in said City, calling for sealed proposals or bids for the furnishing of a power lawn mower in accordance with said specifications, to said City. Said bids shall be received at the office of the City Clerk of said Ci up to eight o'clock P. M. of Thursday, the 13th day of November,19 Said Notice shall require the bidders to state the name of manufacturer and time of delivery. SECTION 3. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified cheep in an amount equal to not less than ten per cent of the amou of such bid, or by a bond in like amount, executed by two sureties who shall Justify in double the amount of said bond in the ma=er required by law, or by a corporate surety duly qualified to exeou such bond. SECTION 4. The successful bidder must, within teas days after the ,accept ance of his bid, execute an agreement with the Cit of Anaheim for the delivery of said pourer lawn mower within ten da; after the execution of said agreement, and bond in the penal sum equal to fifty per cent of the contract price conditioned upon the faithful performance of such agreement. The Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
