RESOLUTION ASARDING CONTRACT FOR xUMP.
`rVHEREA3, in accordance with a notice calling for bids
for a nine - hundred gallon pump per minute against one- hundred -ten
foot head, in accordance with plans and specifications as set fort
in a certain notice calling for bids dated. September 26, 1924, pu
lished in the Orange County Plain Dealer, as required by law, cer-
tain bids for said pump were received, and
4BEREAS, said bids were publicly opened and read as pro-
vided by law, on the 9th day of October, 1924, by the Board of Tr
tees of the City of Anaheim, and
WHEREAS, it appears to said Board of Trustees that the
bid of the Byron Jackson Pump Manufacturing Company is the lowest
responsible bid, and that said bidder is the lowest responsible
bidder,
NOW THEREFORE, said Board of Trustees of the City of An.
heim does hereby resolve: That the bid of said Byron Jackson Pum
Manufacturing Company be accepted, and the contract for the fur-
nishing of said pump and completion of said work be awarded to sa
bidder.
AND IT IS FURTHER RE30LVED, that the bonds of the unsuc-
cessful bidders be returned to them by the Clerk, and that the Cit
Attorney be and he is hereby instructed to prepare the necessary
